Last week, #TeamIronOverload attended the Festival of Genomics & Biodata 2025 in London. We spoke to many people wanting to learn about GH, including people with the condition themselves. Everyone was feeling the '''force''...

       

Right in front of our stand was a model X-wing Starfighter stood guard by Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and a Stormtrooper - it definitely drew everyone's attention to our stand, and made a fantastic backdrop for important discussions about GH!

The show was very well-attended by 5,000+ clinicians, charities, students, universities, and genomics professionals interested to learn about GH. 

Our Nurse, Vik, speaking to students about the impact of GH, and the support that we offer to clinicians and the GH community.

We met several people at the festival who had been diagnosed with GH themselves, including someone who had been tested and diagnosed after seeing our stand at the festival last year! This is a prime example of the importance of raising awareness at events like these.

Thank you to the organisation for hosting us for another year, and facilitating a space for us to raise vital awareness of GH within the genomics community.
