Calling volunteers to a stand at the Heart o'Down Pipe Band and Drum Major Championships in Newcastle, County Down on the 9th August 2025! Can you help out?

We have been kindly offered a stand at the Pipe Band and Drum Major Championships in Donard Park, Newcastle County Down (10.00am to 6.00pm) so are looking for volunteers in Northern Ireland on the 9th who can help with the stand. This is a great opportunity to promote awareness of genetic haemochromatosis (GH) which affects 1 in 10 people in Northern Ireland, and offer support and signposting to families recently diagnosed.

You will also have opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of this colourful and vibrant event!

Reasonable travel and subsistence costs will be covered.
