I am married with one daughter and worked for 40 years in the food industry, starting as a food technologist, and ending as the Managing Director of the division covering France, Middle East and Africa. I have lived twice in France and for 3 years in the USA.

I ran my own consultancy business for 4 years before retiring at 57. I volunteer for HUK as a GH Buddy and a local organisation called Boroughbridge Community Charity (BCC) where I drive people to and from medical appointments.

I have GH, I was diagnosed in 2010 and I am now in maintenance.
