Pass it On - Talking to Families About GH ~ Survey Thank you to all of the participants of the 'Pass it On Project - Talking to families about GH' Zoom Call on Wednesday 8th October. We were thrilled to be joined by such a diverse group, all of whom brought a wealth of their own wisdom and life experiences to the table, which made for a productive and dynamic discussion. This Zoom Call was the first in a series of calls, from which your input will ultimately support us to create a Families' Resource Pack. Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, these Packs will be used to support families all over England to have conversations about health and haemochromatosis with confidence. During our call, we discussed complex family dynamics and the implications of having these discussions with different age groups and those already living with existing health conditions. We discussed how our approaches to each of these conversations may vary based on situational context, and that we should consider this when creating the pack. Emphasis was also placed on ensuring those issuing the Families' Packs and having discussions with their own families, are at a place in their journey where they feel ready and able to have these conversations without detrimental effects to their mental or physical health. If you missed the call, but still want to have your say, you can contribute to our short survey below. We will also be having further discussions about the 'Pass it On Project' in November and December 2025.
