The APPG met on 5th February 2025 to consider a presentation by FTI Consulting LLP on HUK's latest report : "The Economic Impact of Screening for GH in Northern Ireland".

Three years in the making, this new report - commissioned by Haemochromatosis UK from FTI Consulting LLP - examines the economic case for screening for genetic haemochromatosis (GH). There is an economic case for screening people in their 40s in N Ireland.

The meeting also formally re-constituted itself for the current parliamentary session.
